This series has been entirely handmade in the Arctico’s workshops. These are “Made in Italy” fishing rods, specially designed for boat fishing. They are the result of the experience of multiple Italian and world champions (such as Domenico Salvatori and Marco Polignano) and Arctico’s technology, the best on the market. The Mitica Sgombro SG 40 is the "lighter" sister of the SG 60. The Mitica SG 40 is also a suitable tool for both competitions, especially using thinner leaders for research, when the fish are listless in eating , but above all suitable for the fisherman who likes to have a light and thin and very easy tool to use, specifically for midwater fishing of mackerel, horse mackerel, lanzardi, longlines and boghe .. Supplied with a single graft-mounted tip built by hand by Greg specifically designed for this custom-built model. Available in sizes 4.00 and 5.00 meters both with power 5 - 30 grams. The blank is made of high carbon modulus with different stratification and orientation, the construction system is based on the use of composite materials (V.AR.AM).
